WHITEHAWK ICF exists to raise the standard for how homes are built in DFW. Every Whitehawk Home will be built around two mandatory systems: HawkCore, the six-sided reinforced, insulated-concrete shell, and HawkAir, the whole-home approach to ventilation, filtration, humidity, air sealing, HVAC design, testing, and commissioning. HawkSuite features remain optional. Final design criteria are established through project-specific engineering.

Sam Whitehawk is the founder of WHITEHAWK ICF, a Red Seal journeyperson electrician, a pastor, and a leader with more than 15 years across construction, skilled trades, management, education, ministry, and nonprofit service. He is also a husband and father, and that responsibility shapes how he approaches every decision on a home.
Sam began his career in the electrical trade, working on and supervising crews at major industrial construction projects. That experience taught him how drawings, specifications, schedules, safety, quality assurance, trade coordination, and leadership must come together when the work truly matters.
He later spent seven years leading skilled-trades education, advancing from Program Coordinator to Associate Dean. In that role he was responsible for large teams of staff and instructors, a wide portfolio of trades programs delivered across multiple locations, and multimillion-dollar program and operating budgets.
His work included recruiting and developing instructors and managers, coordinating industry relationships, improving procurement and operating systems, leading renovation and training projects, managing budgets, and helping secure funding for an innovative net zero housing initiative.
In 2023, Sam and his family moved to Texas in response to one of their daughters' health needs. Their family's experiences strengthened his concern for resilience, healthier indoor air, accessibility, comfort, and long-term planning.
That concern became a larger mission: build homes that do more than meet minimum expectations.
A Whitehawk Home will require structural engineers, architects, geotechnical professionals, ICF specialists, building scientists, HVAC designers, water-management experts, manufacturers, trades, inspectors, and commissioning professionals.
Sam's role is to assemble that team, align the work around the Whitehawk standard, ask hard questions, create accountability, communicate clearly, and guide the homeowner through one coordinated homebuilding process.
The homeowner should not have to coordinate a dozen disconnected experts. WHITEHAWK ICF exists to bring them together around one resilient, healthier, generation-ready home.

WHITEHAWK ICF is seeking 15 qualified DFW families who want us to build their Whitehawk Homes. Founders 15 is an application and qualification process—not a reservation, a mailing list, or a guaranteed slot. Founders 15 projects are targeted to begin in 2027 as each project completes design, engineering, financing, permitting, and preconstruction.
