HawkVault provides optional reinforced-room construction and integrated security system options that can be evaluated for a Whitehawk Home, subject to project-specific engineering and code requirements.
Reinforced Room Options
Reinforced-room construction can be evaluated against applicable FEMA guidance and local code, where the project, site, and engineering allow.
Reinforced Construction
Steel-reinforced concrete walls and impact-rated doors can be specified as part of a project-specific design.
Emergency Supplies Integration
Optional built-in storage for emergency supplies, communication equipment, and backup power connections can be planned into the design.
Security Monitoring
Optional security cameras, smart locks, and monitoring systems can be integrated based on client preference and budget.
Planned Into the Floor Plan, Not Added Late
Because HawkVault would be planned into the floor plan early rather than added late, the intent is a room that lives as a normal, usable part of the home. Common uses may include:
- A gathering space during severe weather
- A secure retreat
- Storage for valuables, documents, and essential supplies
- A privacy or quiet room for work, prayer, or a sensory reset
HawkVault is optional and not included in every Whitehawk Home. WHITEHAWK ICF does not guarantee availability, code approval, or specific performance ratings before project-specific engineering and preconstruction review. Any specific rating, configuration, or protection level would be determined with a licensed engineer during preconstruction.
