HawkSource is the optional Whitehawk Home approach to solar generation, battery storage, and smart energy management. It is not included in every Whitehawk Home, and its design depends on the project.
Solar Integration
Roof-integrated solar panels can be evaluated to complement the home's architecture, based on roof orientation, shading, and local utility rules.
Battery Storage
Battery storage can be sized for identified priority loads. Backup duration, uninterrupted operation, and grid-outage performance depend on system sizing, loads, and conditions, and are not guaranteed.
Smart Load Management
Load management systems can be configured to help prioritize power usage, with results depending on equipment, usage patterns, and utility rate structures.
Monitoring
Monitoring tools can provide visibility into energy production and consumption where included in the system design.
WHITEHAWK ICF does not guarantee whole-home backup duration, uninterrupted operation, energy independence, utility savings, payback, solar production, or battery lifespan. Actual performance depends on loads, system sizing, utility rules, roof and site conditions, equipment, maintenance, and budget.
