Families considering ICF often encounter bold claims, technical jargon, isolated product information, and too few honest accounts of the complete building experience. The ICF Show is being created to make the category visible, understandable, and accountable.
We plan to visit real homes, hear directly from homeowners, learn from experienced professionals, investigate difficult questions, and show both the potential and the limitations of ICF construction.
The goal is not to pretend that concrete walls solve every building problem. It is to help families understand what it takes to create an ICF home that is thoughtfully designed, properly coordinated, and built around the life they want to live.

Meet your host
Sam Whitehawk
FOUNDER OF WHITEHAWK ICF
Sam Whitehawk is a journeyman electrician with more than 15 years of construction experience, as well as a husband, father, and pastor, preparing to build WHITEHAWK ICF's first Whitehawk Homes in DFW. He is entering homebuilding as a serious student—not claiming authority he has not yet earned.
On The ICF Show, Sam's job is to ask the questions future homeowners would ask, learn from experienced professionals, examine the evidence, and report honestly when new information changes his thinking.
The show also forms part of WHITEHAWK ICF's larger effort to understand what families need to make premium, fully integrated ICF homes a reality.
The ICF Show is created and owned by WHITEHAWK ICF and hosted by Sam Whitehawk.
What you can expect from us

- We will state when a featured project is not a Whitehawk Home and accurately credit the homeowners and project professionals involved.
- Experience is not universal proof
- A homeowner's story will be treated as personal experience—not proof that every ICF home will perform the same way.
- Difficult questions are welcome
- We plan to discuss tradeoffs, mistakes, limitations, cost pressures, and lessons—not only success stories.
- Claims require context
- We will distinguish verified facts, industry evidence, manufacturer claims, professional opinion, homeowner experience, proposed Whitehawk standards, and questions that still require testing.
- Education before promotion
- The show should help people make better decisions even when WHITEHAWK ICF is not the right or available path for their project.
