What We're Designing a Whitehawk Home to Deliver

What Is a Whitehawk Home?
A Whitehawk Home is WHITEHAWK ICF's proposed standard for a premium custom ICF home in Dallas–Fort Worth. It is being developed to bring together HawkCore (structure and envelope) and HawkAir (indoor air), along with architecture, water management, and optional HawkSuite features, into one coordinated approach.
WHITEHAWK ICF is currently preparing to build its first Whitehawk Homes for Founders 15—our first 15 qualified client families. Every project remains subject to engineering, design, code, budget, and product availability.
HawkCore
HawkCore is our proposed structural and building-envelope approach — being developed to coordinate ICF walls, a concrete-roof strategy, foundation and slab details, openings, air control, and water management as one connected system, designed around Wind, Flood, Wildfire, and Earthquake considerations.

HawkAir is our proposed approach to ventilation, filtration, humidity management, air sealing, pressure control, HVAC coordination, testing, and commissioning inside a Whitehawk Home. It is a coordinated design and verification approach, not a medical system or health guarantee.

Depending on the project, a Whitehawk Home is intended to offer open, well-proportioned floor plans, thoughtful indoor-outdoor connections, and accessibility options that can be evaluated during design. Final architectural detailing, materials, and finishes are determined project by project, subject to design, code, budget, and client preference.
Water Management and Durability
Our proposed standard is being developed to include an insulated concrete slab assembly and coordinated water-management detailing intended to:
- Reduce heat transfer from the ground, depending on design
- Help manage pathways for termites and pests through physical detailing
- Help limit moisture intrusion and support vapor management
- Address soil-gas considerations such as radon where site conditions call for it
Final water-management and durability details depend on site conditions, engineering, code, and product availability for each project.
Quality-Control and Verification Process
We plan to evaluate each Whitehawk Home against a documented set of construction, inspection, and commissioning checkpoints as our process develops — from foundation through HawkAir testing and commissioning. This process is being built alongside Founders 15 and will be refined as we complete our first projects.
Optional HawkSuite Features
Depending on the project and budget, a Whitehawk Home may offer optional HawkSuite features. These are not included in every home and are evaluated case by case during design.
